A Weird Evening by The Bottle Flipper

 

It was a peaceful summer evening when I was watching
Netflix from my TV, when suddenly I heard a bang in my
house. So I went to look at what it was and a few
minutes later I noticed that it was my dad who had fallen
from the roof while cleaning the roof. After I noticed
what had happened I ran inside the house to tell my
mom about it. When she heard about it she went crazy
and tried to call 911 but she accidently called Uber. So
when my mom noticed a car coming close to our house,
she ran to it when she was close enough to it she noticed
that she had called a Uber and not 911 so she ran to look
at my dad and see if he was still ok. Right at that point
my mom remembered that we were supposed to have
my mother’s birthday party at my grannies house. So my
mom thought that what a great coincidence it was that
she accidently called an Uber to our house because the
dinner starts at 7pm and it’s already 6.30pm and it takes
us about 45 minutes to walk there but with an Uber we
will get there before the party even starts and for an
even better coincidence my dad said he was ok and that
he is feeling better than ever. So we ran to the Uber and

told the driver the address of my grannies house. So in
about 20mins we were already outside of my grannies
home. When we got there my granny ran to us and told
us that grandpa was in the hospital because he had fallen
from the roof when he was fixing the roof. When we
heard that we quickly got into the Uber with granny and
told him to go to the local hospital. We were at the local
hospital in about 30mins. Right when we got there
everyone jumped out of the Uber even my granny who is
86 years old jumped out and ran inside the hospital.
When we got to our grandpa’s room everyone look at us
and shouted “Hooray, Happy Birthday!” me, my mom
and my dad were all confused until I saw my grandpa
standing and throwing confetti on my mom. That’s when
my mom and my dad and me understood it all. It was all
a joke what granny had said, it was all just a surprise
party for my mother.

One wonderful night I was watching the Champions League Final by myself and i could  smell the popcorn cooking in the oven. Anyway, I was supporting Real Madrid. Then suddenly Cristiano Ronaldo scored a goal and I was shouting, “goal!!!!!!”. Then  Mandzukic scored a goal and I was banging the wall! Then Casemiro scored a banger! I  was sure that Real Madrid was going to win just by looking how they play.  Then again Ronaldo scored, the score was 3-1 Real Madrid was winning.  Then Asensio out of nowhere scored.

 Then someone did something clever his name is Sergio Ramos. what happened was a Juventus player just touched him and he was doing like someone kicked him.  For that the referee believed him and raised a red card at the Juventus player.

 So let’s go back at Asensio scoring. So he scored and after the fantastic goal, the nice match finished and I was happy and mad at the same time. I was mad that Sergio Ramos faked, and happy that my third favorite team won. Then my mom came and said it was time for bed, but I said, “Can I watch when they put up the trophy?”

My mom sighed, “The commercials take a long time to finish.”

I said, “Please!” and then my mom said ok.

Then my sister came down from my grandma and asked me who won.  

I said, “Stop, look at the TV!” because, guess who was holding up the cup? It was the faker, the Hollywood actor Sergio Ramos.  He isn’t a Hollywood actor, I just said it to show how much of a faker he is! Then I replied to my sister’s question and I said,

“Real Madrid” with a sad noise.

Then my mom asked my sister, “Did you read 20 minutes?”

and she said, “Yes.” Then she asked me and I said yes but it was a lie, just so I could see more.

So the match had highlights and one of the highlights was the faking Hollywood scene. Thank God I wasn’t eating because I would have spit my food out! Then she said that I need to sleep so I went to bed.

 It’s not the first time he has done it.  He always does it, but, one thing I like about him is that he always saves Real Madrid. Like, once it was Barcelona vs Real Madrid and the match was in Madrid. I am saying it for a reason, and the reason is that they always win when they are in Madrid. It would break the record if they had  lost. Trust me, they would cry if they lost in Madrid!

I was watching it with my friend. My friend was sad because he was with Barcelona. He wanted for Barcelona to break the record and end it. Listen, it’s not that I don’t like Barcelona, it’s that Barcelona likes Olympiakos, because they helped Olympiakos, and Real is more with Panathinaikos’ side. If you ask why, I will tell you it’s because they helped Panathinaikos pass to the Champions League. It’s a huge accomplishment that a Greek team would even go to Champions League.  

So now let’s go back to Sergio Ramos.

So here’s what happened. Suarez scored at “78 and they were a little bit of nervous so at 90 minutes+ Sergio Ramos scored a header. I wish he would change because  then I would be so happy and maybe he could be in top 10 soccer players I like.

I think that Real Madrid or PSG will win the Champions League final. Once it was a close call, so PSG wanted Ronaldo but he didn’t transfer. Now PSG got almost all the good players and they got Neymar, but Dani Alves for free!!!!! I would have to eliminate Juventus because they lost all their good players.  I would have to eliminate Barcelona too, because they lost Neymar. Overall, this year was a good year for Real Madrid.

I think that somebody will try to buy Sergio Ramos and he will reject the offer. This year I like Sergio Ramos more than the other years. I hope Sergio Ramos changes because he is making soccer a theater!

My Cats! by Catwoman

I love animals and of course I love my pets.  One day at my house we started feeding cats that continued coming for food but one day there came a beautiful cat with a tiger pattern in gray and he had a black line from the top of his head running to the tip of his tail.

After a few days we started giving him food inside the house.  We gave him a little basket to lie in.  when the comes to the house I always asked my mom, “Can we keep him, please?” there was a big sad frown on my face if my mom would say no, “Yes we can keep him, but only if you take care of him when we don’t have time, “Okay!”, I said.

We moved to another house at the end of the school year.  We waited with bringing the cat over because I is not easy putting the cat in the cage so we could bring it to our new house.  So when everything was at the house I asked my mom, “Can we get the cat now?” and she said, “Yes we can, don’t forget the cage”. We went to the house and we brought a towel we first put the towel over his body as if he was wrapped in an adorable blanket ready for winter, so after we put it really quickly over his head and I opened the cage and first his tail was sticking out and I said, “Mom careful his tail is not inside!” so we pushed it in and locked the cage.  Then we went back luckily it was not a long drive.

When we arrived we put him on a leash so he wouldn’t run away.  We had him on the leash outside in the garden but he was panicking so he was really wild and his collar went over his head and he ran away.  I was so sad I cried the whole day.  The next day I heard a really nice, “Meow” and I went outside and he was there I was relieved I could have screamed as loud as I could but I didn’t.  As we settled in everything ready.  One day my sister went to Kifisia and she saw a kitten she called my mom and said, “Mom there’s a kitten in the middle of the street what should I do?”  “I have to go for a coffee with my friend, I will check if he’s there when I come back.”  After a while my sister went back and the kitten was still there.  My sister had a big smile on her face because she really wanted to keep it.  My sister called my mom again and said, “It’s still there, can we bring it home?”  My mom said, “Is it a male or a female?”  We could not take another male because we already have one male cat and otherwise there will be fights for territory.

So eventually I went to pick up my sister and her friends with my dad and we brought the cage in the car and he was so calm in the car I couldn’t even believe it.  So we had to keep it in our small living room so we gave a bit of milk and some food and first he didn’t eat anything.  After a while he drank a bit of milk and we had leftovers from dinner and it was chicken!  Of course the cat ate the chicken, cause I don’t know any cat that doesn’t eat chicken.  So we had to let the two cats meet each other so they get used to each other.  That did not go out well the small one was scared and the other cat wanted to attack but I screamed, “NO”!!!!!!!!  They left each other and we closed the doors.  We had to find a place to put the cat, so we put the cat in my sisters bathroom with the litter box and a blanket to lie on.  The next day worked out well! But a few days later the big cat attacked the small one and in time my mom came in between, but it was sad the big cat (Bernie) bit the small one (Gucci) 4 times in the stomach and you could not touch him from the pain.  He stayed on the couch the whole day and didn’t move.

A few days later the cats still didn’t like to be with each other so we still had to keep them separated that’s how it went on until now it is keeping cats separate probably we are going have surgery/operations so they don’t fight for territory.  “It’s a hard life for me with all these doors closed”.   

   

Movie Night by Green Mustache

It was a cold night and I just finished my homework. I asked my mom if she wanted to watch a movie with me. She said that she had to finish the dishes. So I went to my room to listen to music but at that second the lights were off! I was really surprised that the lights were off at that time and angry because I was about to watch a movie with my mom. My mom and I started running in the dark trying to see what was going on. After a few minutes the lights were back on. Mom said that she was done with the dishes and was ready to watch a movie. So we sat on the old couch, we got our popcorn and watched a movie. We watched a movie about a clown that no one was watching or even looking at him.

The movie was really sad but the clown sometimes was talking funny and he was making a lot of jokes and more. But the other times it was really sad like one part of the movie was that the clown was walking in the rain and a guy pushed the clown in the mud. At that part my mom and I started crying. So at the movie sometimes I was laughing so hard that I fell of the old couch and sometimes I was crying so hard that I used a box of tissues.

But the night wasn’t over. After the movie was done I didn’t want to go to sleep. By the way it was 11 o’clock at September 8th, 2017. After a few minutes something really scary happened. There was an earthquake and one of the vases fell down and broke into a million pieces. My mom went running for the vacuum and cleaned every single piece of glass there was. After that I still didn’t want to go to sleep! I went to my bed and read a book. My mom did the exact same thing but then I heard a noise from my brother’s room. I was so scared that I froze for a second but I went inside the room and saw that my brother was still doing his homework. I forgot that my brother didn’t finish his homework and saw that he was going to bed. I went to my mom and saw that she was sleeping. So I went to bed and I remembered that I had soccer practice.  

My Aunt’s Dog “MIKY” by DJ Melody

​“Miky! Miky! Come here boy! Come. Come,” I said with excitement when my mom, my sister, and I arrived at my aunt’s house in Anavissos. I heard Miky barking and barking from downstairs. I bent down on my knees and hugged him! When I stood up, the door opened and it was my aunt Irini, and my uncle Vassilis. They came out to help us with the things that we had brought with us.

Miky is a big black and white dog, he is named after Miky Mouse. Miky is the youngest, tallest, and also, for me, the cutest of all dogs. My aunt has three big dogs and one small dog. Two of the big dogs, including Miky, are boys and the small dog is a boy as well.

​I always see Miky during Spring break and during Summer vacation. Sometimes I see Miky during Christmas break as well. My aunt doesn’t know exactly how old Miky is but she says that he is about one year and 5 months old.

​I would really love to walk Miky outside my aunt’s house… But I never did because he is really strong. I would also like to take Miky to my house so my friends can see him for once, but I don’t think that my mom and my aunt will let me.

My favorite thing about Miky is… Well, actually, I have two favorite things about Miky. One of my favorite things about Miky is that he protects the house from strangers and also my aunt’s family from people he hasn’t ever seen before as well. My other favorite thing about Miky is that he doesn’t bite and he is kind and powerful!!!

​I wish someday my mom would let me take Miky forever!! I DREAM that when my mom says YES I can have MIKY FOREVER, I think it will be my PROUDEST MOMENT of ALL MY LIFE!!!

Finding my Book by Superwoman

​“BAM!” I immediately woke up and went downstairs. I saw all of my books down all over the floor. I was really angry. I tried to pick them up, but they were really heavy.

“It was fine all of those days, what happened?”I complained to myself.

Then I looked at my watch and saw that I needed to read my book for school. I love reading books, but guess what, my book was all ripped and I couldn’t do something about it. Today it was such a weird morning! I was alone, when suddenly my cousins came.

“Oh my god,” they shouted, “what a mess!”

I explained to them what happened. Then they helped me pick them up. But then they saw the time and said that they needed to leave because it took us a long time to pick the books up.

​Then I remembered that I had two of those books because my sister did a presentation at the same book. I went to get it but then I couldn’t find it. I was really mad and I didn’t know what to do and I had a presentation to do. I felt really nervous. You can’t imagine how my face looked. Then I started crying. My tears were dripping one by one at the floor. Then I called my friend and explained to her what happened. Without me knowing she told me that she had this book. I was so excited that my face immediately changed. The phone dropped from my hand and landed to the floor. I was really happy. Then I was back to my normal self.

She was screaming, “Hello, hello is anybody here?”

Then I picked up the phone and said, “Yes I’m here.”

Then she said to me to go by her house to get it because she couldn’t come.

Then I said, “Ok.”

​Then I went to her house to get the book. She took me upstairs to her room. Her room was colorful with light pink flowers. Then she went to her bookshelf which had a lot of books. She found it and gave it to me. Then we went downstairs and I told her that I had to leave. She said ok. Then I walked out the dark brown door and into my car. As we were leaving she was waving to us to say goodbye.

​Then I started working at my project. My poster was light blue with white dots. The good thing is that I was done reading my book. I added some pictures then colored the edges with my glittery markers, added some detail about my book and then I was done.

One day later I had to present. The teacher said that I was amazing, creative, and said that I put a lot of detail. I was really happy. Also I was lucky that my friend had the book that I was reading.​

​My best friend is my book. I like reading books because you learn more things and you get smarter. When I read books feel amazing. I feel calm and relaxed. Books are really interesting too. Also my favorite book is Lost and Found.

My Cat by Iro2007

“OMG! He’s so cute!” I said as I walked in from school. Last night we found him outside our door. My dad was getting out of the house to go to the doctor and he saw this super fluffy, beautiful, cute creature waiting beside our door. It was so big , that at the beginning I thought it was a dog!

​So that day, when I walked in from school, I saw the cat laying down on my parents’ bed! So cute right?! I was so happy we had him, but also felt bad about its owner. If I had lost him, I would have turned the whole world upside-down to find him/her!

​We didn’t know if this cat was a boy or a girl either. My dad said it was a boy, but my mom thought it was a girl! I actually thought that it was a boy because his meowing was dark for a girl. My mom insisted though that it was a girl, so we called it a girl. My mom used to have a cat when she was in college and she called her “Mitsi”, but it turned out it was actually a boy, so she called him “Mitso”.

​That afternoon, I took him/her out, at the balcony, and read him/her a story. At first, he wasn’t paying any attention, but after, he was looking at me with his/her green eyes. It looked like he/she was listening now! “WOW!!”

​The next day, it was Friday, and when I was walking into the elevator I saw a lady that had many cats and I asked her “Have you lost a cat?” She said “Oh, no! I haven’t, but I think my neighbor has!” “Can I come to your house to see the cat?” she continued. I didn’t want the cat to leave, but I chose to do the right thing and try to get-away with it, so I told her

“Umm, yes of course!”

“Oh, thank you!” she said politely. When I went up to my house, I went to see the cat to tell him/her a goodbye. When I walked in, he /she was laying down on my mom’s chair (where she does work!). He/she looked like a professional business worker! I went closer to pat him/her. It felt like my hand was melting in his fur! (I’ve decided to call him a boy). Now I felt so sad that he was leaving! Also, my mom wasn’t in Greece, or on land. She was in an airplane coming back from Italy (so there was no wifi!). She would be back in any time now, but still I wouldn’t be able to call her!

​“DING-DONG!” “Oh, no” I said to myself.

“I’m never going to see him again!” But I had to try. So I opened the door and showed the lady the cat.

“Oh yes! Its my neighbor’s” she said. I tried to smile and tell her OK.

​I missed “my” cat so much, and thought that I would never see him again! “Ding- Dong!” rang the doorbell again!

“Who might it be again?” I thought as I walked towards the door to open it. When I opened the door, I saw a tall man with a black suit holding a letter.

“Hello! Do you have a cat here?” he started.

“Oh, yes… Um.. Im… Bringing it now! Um.. One second” I said straggly.

“Yes please, thank you” the man in the suit answered politely, as I started walking towards the inside of the house to try to find him. I went to my room in case he was there. I didn’t find him there, but before leaving I checked at the balcony too. Oh yes. He was there! I picked him up (he was so soft, my hand was sinking into his fur!) and moved towards the door to give him to the man.

“Oh thank you! I was looking for him!” he said excitedly. “You’re welcome sir! Is it male or female?” I asked curiously.

“Oh its male, and his name is Suleyman! They give him to me as a present from Azerbaijan!” he replied giving me a lot of detail.

“WOW!” I said and my mouth opened wide in surprise.

“Oh and he is very rare! He is 3 kinds of cats together!” he continued. As I couldn’t open my mouth more from surprise, I just said, “WOW!” again.

​After the following day, my friends Iliana and Marlena would be coming to my house. They really wanted to see him (Suleyman), so did I, and then something magical happened…… “Ding-Dong!” rang the bell. It was 9:00 in the morning! “Who could it be?” I thought when I opened my eyes, half awake, half asleep. My mom opened the door, before I could even stand up on my feet well and walk. I could smell a man’s perfume coming from outside the door. “Aaaargh!” I screamed! It was the same man I saw before yesterday (just without a suit) holding Suleyman in his hands! I knew exactly the reason why….. Suleyman would stay with us for the rest of the day! I was so happy!

When the girls came I showed him to them and they were amazed! They loved him so much!! Suleyman stayed with us for long. We watched the movie “Titanic” with him (kind of… he was running away!), we played with him, we took videos of him, but the rest we did by ourselves.

It was a very fun day, and I was very lucky to have Suleyman with me.

​“Ding-Dong!” th doorbell rang for one more time. I had to say bye-bye to Suleyman. I had fun though, so I wasn’t so sad. Actually I was happy that everyone left because I was very tired.

I went to bed to get a good sleep because I also had school the next day….

THE BAHAMAS ISLAND by The Bahamas girl

​

​It’s beautiful there, it’s the best place of the world! Where can it be? Well, it’s the Bahamas Island of course! I’m in the beach with small bushes and tall buildings behind. I’m 30 years old and I’m there with my old mom, my big dad and my crazy sisters, Nayia the great and Maria the bloomy. My sweet little baby and Maria’s small kid are there too!

​We have many toys with us in case some of us want to play with them. After we all set up, my sweet little small baby goes with the great bucket and the dark shovel to play in the rocky sand. Aw my sweet baby is so sweet when he plays! My crazy sisters and Maria’s small kid go in the cool sea with the plastic giraffe and the air ball. I ask myself, “How beautiful can a place be?” The sun reflects on the cool sea, and there is a beautiful sunset!

​I settled and sat under the umbrella made out of sticks, my old mom settled and sat under the paper umbrella and my big dad settled and sat under the plastic umbrella. It was fantastic! I was telling myself, “This sound of the dolphins, it’s just great!”I was hearing them from the time we came here! I was wondering if they had an opera or something!Then I turned my head to see what my baby is doing. He was still playing with his toys.”Isn’t he bored,” I asked myself. I knew that Maria, Nayia and Maria’s little baby were in the cool sea.

​After I took a good short nap, I opened my bag and made myself a tasty coconut drink. It smelled really, really lovely! My mom asked with a loud voice and a mad face, “Did you bring the food?” With a smooth and gentle voice a replied, “Mom, I’m trying to relax but yes I did bring it.” I opened my phone and cheered from happiness! My favorite fashion team was on the top ten teams in the world!

​After a while, I decided to go in the cool sea. I took my flip flops and got in the cool sea. Now I could see why it’s called cool sea. It was cold but it cooled me down. Then, we decided to go back to the hotel. That was a wonderful day.

The time I enjoy the most is when me and my family wake up on a Saturday morning and go to the forest. One time when we reached the forest it will start raining. In the meantime we are walking in the trees. We saw a turtle and the view of the beautiful city Athens. When we reach the other side of the mountain we could see the view of the island Aegina. Aegina is one of the closest islands to Greece. After we reached the cafe while it was still raining, we were drinking hot chocolate and watching the forest which is beautiful while it is raining. When it rains, it is beautiful because you can hear the rain and the sound it makes.

When we finished our hot chocolate the sun came out and we went again in the forest. On our way I and my mom picked up flowers and we made a bouquet. At the end I gave the bouquet to my mom. The bouquet smelled really fragrant. Then we went go to a place where there are some ancient rocks. The rocks are kind of bumpy. All of my family was happy because we were having a very beautiful time.

When it rains we have to be careful not to slip because it can be really slippery. Some times when it rains the weather is cold and that is when we use the extra coat or jacket we bring. Sometimes when we drink the hot chocolate it is really hot, so we get a second cup so that while the one cup with the hot chocolate is hot we pour into on the other cup which is colder. (We meet other people in the forest mostly a boy or a grill, a family like us or a group of people. Everybody in the forest is happy and when we see them and they see us we say “hello”).

The forest is beautiful place, I recommend to you to go there, though do not go by yourself go with a group of people or your family. The mountain that you should go that is where I and my family go to is Imittos it is in Greece Attiki. The place where me and my family went and drank the hot chocolate in the mountain is called Kalopoula which means in Greek, Turkey, like the one we eat on Thanksgiving but in real life there is no turkey there to eat!   

Soccer by Lamborghini

 

In my opinion soccer is the best sport. As far as I know soccer is the most played sport. If you don’t believe me stay on the ride

Imagine yourself going out on a sunny day playing soccer with your friends. Now I bet you’re screaming that you don’t have a ball. Just make a paper ball. If you have no friends with you, just make 2 or 1 goals and play for both teams. Now if that hasn’t convinced you, at least you have to watch soccer. Just take your favorite snack and sit on your couch and watch the derby and enjoy. Derby means when two rivals compete against each other.

Usually when I play soccer at home I often hit myself, which I hate. One time I took my toe nail off by kicking the couch instead of the ball. The team I want to be on is Olympiakos. There are low on players. Paok used to be my favorite team. If I could pick any team, I would be on Real Madrid but there probably going to reject me, maybe they might accept me, but I really doubt it.

I like soccer so much because my dad took me to almost every game to watch. When I was 3, I was already in a soccer club, Chelsea. My dad coached Chelsea. He met 2 soccer players as well. Diego Maradona and Ronaldinho .That’s why I like soccer so much. From a small age I really liked soccer. I even could on megged My Dad and a 12 year old which means when you kick the ball through someone’s legs.

When I grow up I want to become a soccer player. I have practice almost every day. I play as a midfielder. He passes shoots and plays in the middle of the field. I play for about 3 hours a day. I pray that I will become a soccer player.

• The first ever world cup was in Uruguay
• The next world cup will be in Russia!
• Soccer is one of the most played sports in the world
• Messi and Ronaldo and considered ‘’One of the best players”
• In soccer you have to wear a certain kind of shoes with round spikes at the bottom.

Champions League Final 2016-17 by Masked Boy 10

I could not believe it. 4-1! Real Madrid just beat Juventus – my favorite soccer team – 4-1! In the Champions League Final! Most people thought it would be a good game, but nooooooo…it was horrible! Well, for Juve fans, that is.

Anyway, Cristiano Ronaldo scored first for Real Madrid in like the 22nd minute. Then in the 30 something minute, Mandzukic scored a screamer for Juve! The ball was in the air right outside the penalty box of Real. Higuain tapped it up to Mandzukic, who controlled the ball with his chest, and did a perfect chilena (bicycle kick) which dipped over Navas, the Real goalkeeper and into the bottom right sidenetting! It was a golara! Some people say that the goal was luck, but I don’t think so, I think the goal was 100% skill

There were not a lot of people in the restaurant I was in – because I was in a village near Karpenissi – so everyone in the restaurant that I was in was cheering for Juve, so when Juve scored everyone got on their feet and cheered, and that was awesome.

But in the second half Juve played HORRIBLY! From the beginning of the second half until the eightieth minute, Juve could barely get the ball out of their half! In the 54th minute – at least I think – Casemiro scored from like 35 yards out. The ball went flying straight into the bottom left corner. Then in the 60 or 70 something minute, Ronaldo scored again. I was so sad. I knew that the game was over.

I was filled with dread. By that time Juventus had lost. I sort of wanted to go home but sort of wanted to watch the rest of the match. I mean, there was still almost 25 minutes left, so Juventus could theoretically pull a comeback – at least, this is what I wanted to think. Anyway, in the 90th minute, Marco Asensio scored for Real, and the game was absolutely over.

Then the final whistle blew. I almost felt like crying into my Juve scarf. I wished I could snatch the game away and it would be forgotten forever. I could hear the Juve fans groaning and the Real fans cheering through the TV. The only thing that saved me was the smell of fries and finished lemonade.

On the way home, walking down the hill in the darkness, my only thought was that there was still next year. I really didn’t have any emotion for the rest of the night. When we got home, I was so tired and so wanted to forget everything that just happened that I fell asleep instantly.

Now it is September, you know that thought I had on the walk home from watching the game? Forget it. Juve is not going to win the Champions League this year. Well, they have a great team, but last year it was amazing. Anyway, this year, they sold Leonardo Bonucci, a super center-back to their rivals, AC Milan for 25 or 35 million! That is such a small amount! I would have gone with like, 65 million! Juve also sold Dani Alves for free to PSG! Last year, Dani Alves was one of their most important players, if not their most important player. When I found out about this, I was like, what the heck, why would they do that?!

But I guess Juve is still very good. Their offence is awesome; they have Dybala, Mandzukic, Higuain, Douglas Costa, Cuadrado, and Bernardeschi.   I guess Juve has a chance to win the Champions league

…but not really, if you know what I mean.   

Hershey Park by Mr Jeff

 

 

“Can we go to that ride please?” I said to my mom and dad with a pleading face, “Sure!” my dad exclaimed. We were in Hershey Park, Pennsylvania and we were going to a really cool ride. It had a part where you would go down in a twirl! When we got to the station we waited for our turn. Time passed but then it was our turn! We got in the rollercoaster and put the secure belt on, clunk!

The rollercoaster slowly departed, “Here we go!” I said eagerly. After a while of twists and turns, we finally reached the loop, it was so cool! We went round and round and while we were in the loop it felt like we were going to fall off! When we got to the station we got off and walked towards the exit and I said dizzily “That was so cool!”,

We walked all the way down and saw all the amazing rides in front of us. We walked over to this ride called “Thunder Race.” Then we walked up to the station and waited in line (it was not long). Then it was our turn we were waiting behind a gate, pfff! The gates opened and we got in our seats. I sat next to my dad and we pulled the secure belt towards us and waited for the ride to begin. “I bet this ride will be fantastic!” I said with a big smile on my face “I bet so too,” my dad said eagerly, Clunk!  

The brakes went off and the ride started. We departed and reached the gear that pulls us up, and then we reached the peak of the drop. I had a scared/ awesome face then we started the drop. “OMG!” I screamed terrified! The wind blew in our faces and I had my eyes wide open from the terrifying moment. The drop ended and then we began the twists and turns and there was so much power caused from the drop that the turns were crazy! In the final part to beat the race there were bumps. The result was . . . WE WON!!! “Boo ya!” somebody said. “We are the CHAMPS!” I said boasting a bit. Then we reached the platform and walked towards the exit and went off to try many other rides.         

A Snowy Saturday Morning by The Bottle Flipper

 

On a snowy Saturday morning, I woke up to the sound of my dog Luna barking. Luna usually wakes up at 7.30am on the week days, but on the weekends she wakes up at usually 10am. Luna barks so loudly so of course I woke up. So when I woke up I jumped out of my little cozy bed and went to look at what Luna was barking at. So it seemed like Luna was barking at the very icy window, so I looked outside the very icy window and saw giant piles of fluffy snow, and that’s when I thought , “what a great day to go outside” . Then I went to wake up my whole family up with Luna, and told them the great news, then suddenly when I told my family the great news they all asked the same question, “How much snow is there?” and I told all of them that there was a lot of the snow. Soon everyone had eaten breakfast and was ready to go. So at about 10am me and my family were walking up a very snowy hill with our sleds, some shovels, snowboards, some skies, and of course wearing our very cozy and fluffy winter jackets. It took us pretty long to get up the hill because there so much snow. So when we finally got to the top of the snowy hill, we all started building snow forts and throwing snowballs, And then started running and twirling in the snow and jumping happily in the snow. Then a few hours later everyone was tired and ready to go home. Then suddenly I noticed the sun that was setting, and thought , “what a great time to go warm up in front of the very warm fireplace in my families living room”. Then we started heading towards home. When we finally reached home Luna was tired too so that’s when I thought, “ Let’s all get some treats and  Luna too.” So then I gave Luna some of her treats, and the rest of us drank some Finnish drinks called “glogi”, And some Finnish cookies called pipari. Then just at that point I thought what a great taste of warm berries and warm cookies!

Wi-Fi Problem by Gucci-I

 

“Oh God, oh my God,” I said. “Why is it not working?!It was fine 2 hours ago!”. If my laptop is not working, what about my phone? I thought. I typed, waited and saw it on the screen. <No Internet. Problem Loading Page>. What about the tablet? Again, <Low Connection>.

“Dimitris! Is the router even on?” I asked my brother. “Why do you even need WI-FI?” he inquired. “YOUTUBE,” I replied. “Too Bad. I’m playing videogames, aka Call of Duty with my friends Rami and Kouzakos. I need Wi-Fi for this. You know?” his voice got a little bit louder. He was getting taller, and taller, his red hair was falling onto my face.

I just decided to watch TV but, guess what happened! My grandparents were watching “To Anthropaki”. An old, black and white, Greek show. I didn’t like it but I sat there and watched for a bit. All of a sudden, I hear “He,he,he,he,he!”.  It sounded like a witch making a poisonous potion with green goo and worms trying to escape. Like she was Snowhite’s stepmother making that apple. Something like that. Something that smells  bad. Something that bubbles popped every half second. So, at that moment, when she wanted to go to the bathroom, she slipped and fell.

 

I left and I went to the kitchen where my mom was. “Mom,  I have nothing to do!” my mom took a bite of the scrumptious, nutella filled cookie as I complained. “Why don’t you have something to do?” she forenamed as she wiped the chocolate off her face from the cookie. “Now. Stop complaining. Play with your toys , you’re at home,” my mom Dimitra opined. “Well, the only toys I have are Barbie dolls and other things. But, I want to watch videos on YouTube.  So, Dimitri’s friends are playing Call of Duty and they are using up all the Wi-Fi,” I verbalized.

I went back to the living room where the TV was, and then back to the study where the router was and all the pencil cases and I scribbled on a paper. Great. Now I have nothing to do because of everybody living in our house. But mom. She didn’t do anything bad.  I told myself.

“Dimitri!  Stop playing on your PS4 now!” I heard my mom shout. I knew it was an opportunity to go on YouTube, and turns out it was. I typed in : IIsuperwomanII on the smooth keyboard of my silver Mac and sipped on yummy apple juice, while  I watched probably about 10 videos.

Samsung Note 8 by Evanatior

 

My dream phone is the Samsung Note 8. It has very interesting details that moved technology to a whole other level. Its camera can record up to 15 megapixels, which is almost as good as you can see in real life! No bugs no nothing. It also has a special feature that was used in the last 3 phones (Samsung 7, 6, and 5); it’s the curve screen, this allows you to make touches on the sides of the phone! But let’s talk about the cons too. For example, if your pockets are small then you need to get the Samsung note 8 mini, because you don’t want to know how big this phone is. Its 6.3 inches tall and 3 inches wide. That’s bigger than the pocket of an 11 year olds jean. Last but not least, it costs 1,025€. That is a huge price, but I think that it’s 100% worth it.

When I get it, I will make a video unboxing it and revealing its cool features and post it on my YouTube channel. I will also set up the time zone date etc. After that I will download Skype, Clash Royale, Injustice, Robbery Bob, Minecraft, Clash of Clans, Snapchat, and Vehicle Simulator. If the phone does not come with headphones or even a headset (which I highly doubt), I will go to public.gr and get some. Then from my old phone I will take a picture of it and post it on Snapchat. I will call my Dad, Adri, DemetrisR and Ribal to tell them that I got it. Then I will close my computer and play with it for a while. It would be the best thing in the world if someone got me this phone, I would love him/her forever (even if he/she was my enemy).

“Evan!” called my mom

“Please come here, I have to tell you something important!” I shut down my computer and smelled spaghetti. Immediately I thought my mom was cooking. I walked over to the kitchen but nobody was there! “Mom!” I shouted

“Where are you?” I walked in her room and saw my sister watching Netflix,

” Where’s mom?” I asked my sister,

“How do you want me to know? She answered ironically. I decided to stop searching for mom and because I accidentally shut down my computer. I went to the living room to see if maybe she was there. No, no signs of my mom anywhere in the house. Weird, where is she? I thought. I sat down on the couch and started playing with my PS4. Suddenly, I hear a noise, someone or something move along the curtains. Maybe it’s just me being a little close to the TV screen. I moved back a step and turn my head towards the TV screen and realized it was closed, can still hear the grunting and punching of my game in the background. I looked to the table and the controller is not there. I placed my PS4 controller on my desk and started searching for it. Finally I found it next to the curtains. I closed the PS4 and went to the kitchen. I opened the door and because I looked down I saw my mom’s shoes. I looked up and saw my mom with her hands behind her back; I know she’s holding something.

“What are you doing here?” I asked. I was totally weirded out. Out of the blue, my mom’s eyebrows rose up, oh no I thought what did I do wrong?

“What were you asking me for the last 5 months?” questioned my mom still being weirdly angry at me. My heart skipped a beat; could this really be it? I thought no way she bought it for me

“Umm the Samsung phone?” I answered.

“Correct, now why do you think I should give it to you?”

“Because I have been getting good grades and stuff?” I said

“Yes but also you have been very helpful, you deserve this” She moved her hands and gave me a box. It read “SAMSUNG” My mouth opened so wide that I’m sure you could fit 100 elephants inside it “THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!” I screamed at the top of my lungs.

“How much time is the Judo lesson,” screamed the ipad.

“My judo lesson is one hoar but the teacher will keep as thirty minutes more so that is one hour and thirty minutes,” exclaimed Coco.

“Did you finish your homework?”Said Coco’s mum.

“I finished now,” screamed Coco.

“Now that we got all of our papers of the animals let’s sell them for a lot of money,” explained Peter.

“But we need an eraser and a sharpener,” added Pen.

“Now let’s go to America and become the best book writer,” added Peter.

“Sure but that will be hard,” mumbled Pen.

“But now I am not sure of what to do,” cried Peter.

“I have an idea,” called out Pen.

“We can sketch out a lot of famous artwork and you can color it and then we can sell for a lot of money so we become rich, “shouted Pen.

“Ok,” cheered Peter.

“I sold all of the artwork and I got 5 million from all the selling,” rejoiced Peter.

“Yeah,” cheered Pen.

“Now we will go to the shop and buy the shop and many more shops,” rejoiced Peter.

“Yeah!” sang Pen.

“So then we will be so much more riche r then before!” marveled Peter

“We can make a Luna Park and so many different shops!” sang Peter.

“That is kind of weird because we are kids and we are already rich!” rejoiced Pen.
