A Turkey Tall Tale by Asimina

Tom Turkey was a big turkey. Now, I don’t mean any ordinary big turkey.  No sir! I mean an extraordinary, gigantic big turkey.  In fact, Tom Turkey was so big, that in the barnyard, he ate way more than all the other regular sized turkeys.

Now, Tom Turkey did something very different than all the other turkeys.  Something very, very weird! Whenever Tom Turkey got mad at some other turkeys, he ate.  Oh boy, he ate a lot! So that he grew bigger and bigger and scared the other turkey away.
One day, when Tom Turkey woke up, he was all excited to eat his enormous breakfast.  One turkey came over to him and told him that he was very fat and that he all the evidence by looking at his lunch.  This time, Tom Turkey had had it.  This time, Tom Turkey ate so much food! He ate the biggest meal of his life! He started growing and growing and he couldn’t stop until he became a giant Godzilla turkey! He stared walking on buildings and on mountains.  He started crushing everything until he stepped on a pointy tree! There was a hole in his foot and he started to deflate until his size went back to normal.Everybody told him whenever you grow big you should turn back to normal.
