Adventure in the Snow by Itamar

Last week my family and I went on a winter vacation to Pelion. We had a plan to go to ski-shelter for the snow. We were planning, too, to go to a village cabin in Pelion on Sunday and to return on Thursday and in-between to visit the ski-center twice. Unfortunately, this did not happen. We did not go to the ski-shelter in the first two days and on Tuesday I woke-up to the sound of yelling. Snow was falling around us!  We went to play outside.  On Wednesday, happened some unpleasant events: electricity shutdowns. We went to play outside that day too. My parents were worried about returning. On Thursday, my father was hardly in the cabin. He spent much of that day making way for cars in the snow. There were some electricity shut-downs that day, but not as many as on Wednesday. On Friday we finally got out of there. The trip was long and dangerous, but we made it.

  1. Dear Itamar,
I sounds like you had an exciting vacation! I find it amazing how snow can stop you from going somewhere and can change your plans. It must be a bit scary to have electricity shut-downs, but you’re lucky you got to play all day!

P.S. I went to Mt. Parnitha with Thomas and played with the snow a lot!

  2. Dear Itamar,
Awesome story and awesome picture! It must’ve had lots of snow at Pelion. Your English is getting better and better. Good Job!

  3. Dear Itamar,
It sounds like you had lots of fun! You were lucky you were playing in the snow. How many days did you stay there?

  4. Dear Itamar
I really liked your story. Your story was great, and I also love to play in the snow. Maybe you could have explained how you felt when the electricity shut down. Were you scared or happy? Snow really sometimes can be a disaster for the parents, but lots of fun for us, kids.

P.S. I also saw snow, but not here in Greece just in the Czech Republic. Surprisingly from the picture it looks like it snowed more in Greece.

  5. Dear Itamar,
That is too bad that you did not get to go
visit the ski-center twice, but it sounded
like you had a lots of fun any way.
    P.S
You did a great job on your story 🙂

  8. Dear Itamar,

Your story sounded a bit exciting and a bit dangerous. You were scared that it was going to be hard to get back to your house and at the same time had fun because every single day you went out in the snow to play. See,you didn’t go to the ski-center but you did get to go and play outside.

    Your friend,
    Carlo
